Atlantic Sea Scallop Research Set-Aside Awards Announced

NOAA Fisheries’ Northeast Fisheries Science Center and the New England Fishery Management Council are pleased to announce that 15 projects have been recommended for support from the 2016-2017 sea scallop research set-aside program.

The process was highly competitive, and more than 30 proposals were received. These proposals were evaluated by technical reviewers for technical merit, and by a panel of experts engaged in sea scallop management for responsiveness to the Council research priorities.
