Council Coordination Committee (CCC)
The Council Coordination Committee (CCC) consists of the chairs, vice chairs, and executive directors from each regional fishery management council (Councils) or other staff as appropriate. This committee meets twice each year to discuss issues relevant to all Councils, including matters related to the implementation of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act (MSA). NOAA Fisheries hosts one meeting in January or February of each year, and the second meeting, hosted by one of the Councils, is usually held in May or June.
