Opportunity for Stakeholders to Engage with 2022 Spiny Dogfish Research Track Assessment Working Group
The Spiny Dogfish Working Group will hold a virtual Stakeholder Session on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. using the WebEx online meeting platform.
This session will: (1) provide an overview of the Spiny Dogfish Research Track Assessment process; and then (2) open up for stakeholder input and questions.
The overview will include:
- An introduction to the Research Track and Terms of Reference
- Current Research Track Assessment focus areas
- The assessment model
- Ecosystem drivers
- Life history updates
- Survey and catch information
Following this overview, the Working Group will open the session to stakeholder discussion and feedback on these current research endeavors, as well as additional research areas for potential inclusion in the assessment.
